How Much Is Bet on the Super Bowl?

According to the Detroit News, 6 billion dollars was estimated to be bet on last year’s Super Bowl XL! This staggering amount was bet by an equally staggering 60 million individuals. In contrast, the state of Nevada reported that only 94.5 million of that today was bet “legally” (that’s only 1.5% of the total action)!
